Company Overview
Dick Deen, the company's director and owner, commenced Richlands Haulage over 38 years ago and started by transporting over-dimensional wide loads, rig shifts and heavy earthmoving equipment around the country from Alice Springs to Darwin and all through Western Queensland. A Mack fleet of trucks including old B models, R models, Superliners, Valveliners and Titans were used for carting wide and heavy oversized loads.
In November 2006, Dick Deen bought his first new Mack Titan with 600 CAT 18sp and 52.390 Eatons on six rod and B5 “bunk”, Hautech diesel a/c unit and new Drake 7 x 8 platform and 2 x 8 dolly. Dick’s business also operate Pilot vehicles and has since added another 200 tonne rated Mack Titan with 7 + 3 = 10 rows of eight module and 2 x 8 dolly with 12 lines of eight capable of carrying 150 tonne pay load.
Today the company transports any equipment and machinery required to be moved locally, intrastate or Australia wide. Pilot vehicles and any permits required to shift equipment are also available to suit customer requirements.
Dick Deen also owns a trailer building business, which involves building low loaders, drop decks, dollies, tipper conversions as well as heavy rated prime movers and low loaders. Please see RES Trailers for more information.
